I found this really cute and inspirational piece of writing today and it sort of sums up a lot of the shit that people our age go through with love and relationships and friendships and just everything.
It went a little something like this...
It took me a long time to realise what was really going on. That the old saying that you are the only person who will never leave you is so very true. We must learn to rely on ourselves, to trust ourselves, to respect ourselves, and to most importantly love ourselves. To find true love, you must first love yourself.
I just thought it was real cute and honest and some good advice for, in particular, girls our age.
